Had almost forgotten these seasons bring the invasive guests to my house.

It’s usually quite difficult to draw a serious Terrik. This is unusual because, he’s nearly always serious and moody ranging to mentally mismanaged.

But today he’s really very very depressed. I’m not sure why.

I was allowed to begin on this.

In between being too sick to function and needing to function badly, I’ve remembered that time I caught a six and a half foot Pacific Gopher Snake.

My ‘snake catching expert who regularly caught seven foot tops’ partner performed a miraculous feat of screaming like a girl and doing a standing jump backwards across a large ditch. He probably should have been a gymnast instead.

Learned later that people have a difficult time snap identifying the difference between them and Rattlers. I have no formal snake identification training, but it wasn’t a problem for me. I admit they look similar though.  Had that guy for about three hours. He was really sweet natured.

We don’t get snow here. We get atmosphere that holds its breath as ice crystals fall from a dark purple sky at thoughtful intervals. 

This is really quite like living in a Fortean Experience.
